More pics of "Bling-Wiesel"

Kinda sounds like "Vin Diesel" :D

Look what we brought home from Alberta!

Just got home this week from my annual trip to the WASCA trials in Alberta! My dog "Bill" competed in advanced cattle, sheep and ducks and we also took in the clinic with Steve Shope. I learned so much this past weekend, had a great time and brought home several Q's and high overall duck dog award for the weekend. So anyway, lots of fun and only one Q left on cattle and young Billybob has his WTCH...wow! Also, I had the opportunity to stop in at Tami Butterwicks place on the way to the trial and on the way home. Great facilities there to work stock and a big thank you goes to Tami for her help & pointers Wednesday night before the trial! We stayed at the fabulous KingWest hunting lodge up there, wonderful place to stay and super nice people. I would love to go back for a bit more vacationing sometime. Also, on the way back home we had a photo shoot with Tami, Barb, Payton and the dogs. What a blast! Icing on the cake after the visit was me heading home with an 8 week old Cairn Terrier pup from Tami! What a doll this little girl is, super super disposition and so much fun. She's going to make a great family pet (smaller package than what I'm used to) and I will likely give the whole conformation thing a whirl for kicks! So far we are calling her "Wiesel", which kinda mimics my friends BC puppy...but honestly Austin thought of it!!! I was going to call her "Bling"...perhaps she'll have 2 names!

The "Moldotype"...

Hahaha!!!!! Love it! Ok, so here's the scoop. AO was out here and I showed her these photos in an old building of the hunters that used to party here in the shop in the early 80's! Anyway, old pics laying around in an old building with excessive moisture kind of made for an interesting look...so we added some humor, a little sarcasim, and named our invention "the moldotype"! Now we came up with this grand idea first so if anyone out there tries to steal it, we may have to take self portraits of ourselves pretend drowning! Oh my, what will we think of next :D

"Happy Feet"

"Happy" the Appy was born here this spring out of our new mare "A Choo Star" aka "Sly". Will have to go out and take some pics of this cute mare, she was an outstanding western pleasure horse in her day, even won the pleasure division under all judges at the 50/50 futurity. She's a nice addition here as I was familiar with her, her history and her training. Just a "fun horse" to have around. "Happy" was a pleasant surprise, I was sure that I was going to get a solid filly but Sly fooled us all! More pics to come in the future of these 2.

Otis spots a coyote!

Sic em Oti-O!!!!

Has it been a month already?

Yikes! Where has the time gone??? Been so busy since graduation, grooming dogs, trying to get my life back in order, even still unpacking a few things. I leave next week for the WASCA trials in Alberta with Bill, haven't had much chance to work him so here's hoping he remembers his flanks and doesn't get too sticky on me! All I need are 2 Q's on cattle and he's got his WTCH!!! My Billybob...either way...he's awesome...WTCH or no WTCH! :))

Had a chance to do a little shooting which was great and I'm enjoying some new gear! Here are a few shots around home! My red tri bitch Coco, I love her to bits! As well, Otis my Pyrenees...handsome devil, Austin out shooting and a few others for fun!
